Quite simple for me and based on the 'facts' of what he did for us last season and what injuries he (didn't) carry with us..... He was a class act, scored some stunning goals, had a great work ethic about him, demonstrated some great skills, had vision and was always looking to be creative. Allegedly he also brought some good team spirit to the dressing room. He really did out-class most others and that got him the player of the season award. Yes, he's an expensive proposition, so anything that could be done to secure his services for the next season at a more reasonable (realistic) cost would for certain get my vote. The fact that he is looking at other clubs is his absolute right; why wouldn't he? - we surely can't knock a professional for looking out for their own interests. I'd be delighted to see him in our squad next season either as a signing or a loanee again.
Agree with Tim on this one. Loved seeing Bullard in our side, he really upped the all-round performance and scored some beautiful goals, not to mention his tremendous set-pieces. Would have him back in a heart-beat to be honest.
