Is Jagielka The Answer?

Actually yes. If your happy with that it just goes to show how much we've declined since 2003-2004.

 

What amazes me is that the decline has been markedly obvious over time, especially in the last two seasons. I realise we have been given hope in the manner by which we have headed the premiership over these past seasons but the way we've thrown it all away and with no redress in sight is depressing. I applaud Arsene for his achievements with a limited budget but this decline needs to be reversed and to start now would not be a moment too soon.

 

We still need another CB

and a LB

and if either Cesc or Nasri go, another CM

I'm fearful we're going into this season with some obvious gaps.

 

I'm fearful our manager has thus far not seemingly addressed these deficiencies.

 

"Thus far" is the key phrase here.

We've got a month to make an assessment.

 

In the meantime my nerves are getting frayed and fried

What annoys me is when Arsene comes out and tries to explain away how it is we gave away goals and then goes on to talk about positives, using in his speeches, that word ' overall ' because overall, our performance has not been good enough and he needs to change the trend.

Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka to Arsenal.

Nicklas Bendtner, Tomas Rosicky and £20m to Everton.
