You only have to read the garbage that singingblue rinse and a few others write to realize making up their own song would be impossible. " **** lets buy a bell and ring it " :smiley-finger007:

HaHa I love it when you talk dirty to me blue-rinse.
Any way how do you feel about us employing Esmeralda to ring a bell at our game tomorrow night along with a few chimes.

Didn't the chimes break recently? Maybe that was a sign of things to come...

  5. SB3, I am sending you to the sin-bin for an illegal verbal tackle. Go and sit down and reflect on what you have done.

And start worrying how your team is going to contain super Rickie Lambert at FP in Dec.

In fairness, lots of teams were singing the chimes the last season or so, albeit with the "play" up bit slightly abbreviated......

We have a cunning plan involving throwing lots of meat pies on the pitch for him to indulge in a little sustinance!<laugh>

Might throw a cake with a file in it, on the pitch if Barnyard is playing ,or will he be on a long vacation then as a guest of her Majesty?<whistle>

The Wikipedia version of it's history amuses me. Can't imagine this coming from Westwood's mouth.

    Play up Pompey,
    Just one more goal!
    Make tracks! What ho!
    Hallo! Hallo!!

Do you feel you might get a pat on the back singing :emoticon-0135-makeu

  12. I had a feeling you might. Still won't stop him though.

Sustenance is spelt with an 'e' but I forgive you.

If Barnard does get sent down, Cortese will summon his Italian friends and 'persuade' the judge to change his mind.

It's going to look funny with the many empty red seats on the Pompey bench when they come to St Marys...

Any words that the Blue Few sing should be encouraged, because most of the "songs" I heard on Saturday had no words. Just seemed to have a Na Na Na Na,Na Na Na drone on and on.

I did catch a quick "are you watching Clotterill" which made me laugh, but other than that the songs, atmosphere and general feel of the game was awful.

After watching a live stream from Pride Park, the football on SS2 Saturday evening was like watching the Dog and Duck on a Sunday morning.

You must get a fair bit of that in Falling Downs car park singing as lets face it, there's plenty of room :emoticon-0119-puke:

Not really, although I have heard that the car parks in the New Forest are always full with cars which have Saints stickers and pennants on them, I wonder why? Do they hold alfresco violin lessons or something there I wonder? Perhaps you can enlighten me.......<laugh>
