I think I'll ban you for arse scraping............... Hi Caldicot, no joke down there for you at the moment mate. SOD didn't seem able to get the best out of your players, let's hope so anyway otherwise Cotterill has got no chance. From what I know of him, he's a sort of the junior Sam Allardyce school with out the stomach bulge. "Oop and Under" is the order of the day, and to be honest, that might just be the most effective way to get out of that division. Let's hope you get out of it at the right end mate - I'd hate to see the blue side over there hammer you next season (that's if they're not in the Conference )
CCR Good to hear from you. Your respects to Squire Sparkey are noted. Despite our rivalry the downward spiral at Ashtip Gate is surprising and I hope you pull away from the danger zone soon. Our ex loanee JET seems to have been a regular scorer for you. Does he contribute much more? I see you also have our ex no. 3 keeper in Parrish. How's he bearing up under the strain? Don't be a stranger. We may need some moral support with our January fixtures.
Thanks for the good wishes Sparky and Blue...always decent enough to spare a thought for us lower league cider swillers in our hour of need. Parish has kept Frank Fielding (ex England keeper my arse!) out of the team on merit and looks ok at this level....a bit more experience and he could be a regular in most L1 or even Championship teams. JET is pretty much all we have!....without him we would be even worse off than we are now. I know a few of my Cardiff mates said he was over rated and lazy at yours but he is certainly a joy to watch at this level. Very very skillfull and sometimes unstoppable when he is going forward. And a sweet left boot that has got him a few this season......especialy that one against the Gas. Just praying now that Cotterill will turn things around for us. Can't say I was impressed with SOD one bit....he came in as the saviour but turned into a misserable old brummy who has the trophy for giving us our worst run in history!
