It was the JPS black and gold Lotuses that seduced me as a child, when we also used to have chocolate cigarettes. With this in mind, I'd like to propose a solution to Bernie's conundrum: chocolate Rolexes. Simple, huh? And why stop there? The possibilities are endless: chocolate hedge fund; chocolate tax haven in a banoffee republic... Bernie, on the other hand, has become the proverbial chocolate tea pot.

Yes, this forum is (mostly) nice social media, unlike Twitter which I just find quite nasty a lot of the time.

Do you think if we told Bernie how nasty Twitter is, he'd suddenly be all over it?

I wonder if Bernie doesn't like Twitter because he went on there and found out that ordinary people could talk to him and tell him where to stick things?

I wouldn't be surprised! Anyway, I suspect that a lack of absolute control over it would have made it less appealing to him.

Well, Jesus Christ, I just listened to the news, what the ****ing hell is going on in this country, there is a poor guy going on about being abused by high ranking officials and an asian girl explaining what happened to her, similar sort of situation.

There seems to be no one, who can preside over an enquiry into these claims, what the hell is going on, are all these high ranking policemen, judiciary, and politicians bent bastards.

Appologise for the rant but, Christ, what is going on.

Compared to back in 2009 for instance, it doesn't feel the same. It's not F1 anymore.

We are living in bad times, what we see as normal is really not... you just have to keep your health no.1 these days as nobody is going to look after it for you.

Too much power leads to corruption and many of those who seek power do so to satisfy their own needs rather than any intent for good.

Sorry for the triple post.... But I've kinda been stewing on this all day.

According to Bernie, F1 isn't marketed towards me. I cant afford a Rolex, I'm too busy raising my family and spending my money in my home to be able to aspire to such luxury. F1 is now no longer something that should be accessible to me because I don't count in their demographic. So you know what... I think I agree with him... I should go find something accessible to my class., Like Indy.

Thanks for opening my eyes Bernie... I'll take your advice and f*** off.

Bernie knows all this. He just doesn't care for the long term no matter how much sense it makes and how out of it he appears because he knows that one way or another he's going to clock off soon.

He can't go quick enough for me RR. People go on about how much he has done for the sport and it's all BS as far as I'm concerned. He's actually hindered the sport if anything. Most of what F1 has become is natural progression. What he's achieved is divide teams, played favorites, bankrupt tracks and distance the sport from it's bread and butter. I cringe when I hear people praise him. He's a vulture imo. I don't see any positives...

Yeah, agree completely. I'm sure he did some good things for the sport once upon a time but it's clear that he's attempting to undo all of it and send us backwards. I too can't believe some of the adulation people give him just for making a ****-ton of money and claim that it makes him more successful than you or me. Bull. There is plenty more to life in the grand scheme of things than making money. And in that I think most of us are much more successful than Bernie.

I have as big a problem with this

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...oints-in-formula-one-next-season-9862218.html

As his fan comment. In fact, probably bigger on the basis that it is super hypocritical.

But what else should we expect from a man who claims F1 does not get involved in politics, then cosies up with Putin.

I absolutely despise the little Hitler (pun intended).

One of those times when you feel that all fans worldwide should put in a petition for Bernie to be put out to pasture.
