60/40 split at the moment in favour of him moving on. Personally l voted in favour of him being moved, but only into the squad as backup. He has long been one of my absolute favourites, but he is not performing well enoughnat present to be keeping out some of our other players. Makes me wonder what Pardew will do when HBA is back ? The way Pardew embraced Jonas at the end of the Villa game was pure emotion and relief and it is obvious that Pardew rates Jonas highly, however now is not the time for sentiment, Jonas needs to make waybfor younger fresher legs.

I voted for him to move on, but I didn't particularly mean that I want him sold in the next window.

He shouldn't be starting. On the other hand, if he was used for 20 minutes a game for a spell, or if he just had a rest, he might become more effective. At the moment he's worn down/burnt out/etc, but that isn't necessarilly irreversable

 

I'm now reduced to hoping Jonas is mistaken for a pirate and vanishes to somalia!!! I mean what the hell is wrong with Pardew???? if he being threatened by him during fencing practice?
