Glory i get lost on twitter need to float about a bit on it i suppose and feel the water how you getting on ok ?
Piers Morgan doesn't like me. Lol There are more rumours started there In 5 minutes than you start in the average month.
Took exception to being called a glory hunting plastic. Shocked to get a pm. At least he didn't threaten to sue me. Not sure if to follow Varney and give him the benefit of my wisdom
Is it time for BMCD to be sacked? No. Is he the man who will take us up and bring back the glory days, maybe, maybe not. But we should keep him this year and I also feel we should give him the summer and weigh up our options this time next year.
No it's not. How can he try to build HIS team with all the uncertainty around LUFC at the moment. Yes we're on a **** run at the moment but until we're definitely owned by someone who doesn't just want to rape the club I don't think any manager stands much of a chance. I also get the impression, based on some of the performances lately, that some of the players seem content to do as little as possible and just pick up their pay cheque. It's a shame there seems to be no way of sacking lazy ****s these days without a pay-off. I'd love to see what's in a players' contract.
Good comments, Re players contracts, neymar(barca) has a clause in his contract that he gets a bonus of 2m a year if he plays where the manager tells him too? WTF? Shouldn't he just do as he's told?
He has made 9 signings, 2 are loans in Kebe and Stewart who are poor to say the least and the other 7 are not selected, what team is he trying to build, why sign a player if they are no better than what we already had remembering what we had was an average team finishing in an average position. Why doesn't the manager drop them then? Why doesn't he replace them with players he has signed or Green, Norris or Tonge Seriously, I can't see why anyone would defend him.
You can guarantee every season from some Leeds fans will be calling for the managers head.. the bloody manager never gets enough time at the club and their office is fitted with revolving doors...give a manager a few seasons at least or you will never get back to the premiership in a million seasons..
He hasn't spent triple what warnock spent, I'm so sick of this argument, its clearly not true. Peltier - 750k Kenny - 500k Pearce - 600k Varney - 300k Austin - 400k Tonge - 500k Hall - 200k Morison - 2m (Becchio's valued price in the swap deal) I've got 3.25m there not even including the ridiculous swap deal for Morison. I admit these figures are speculative to some degree but when warnock was here all our transfers were much better documented due to the open nature in which he operated. Warnock also brought in a significant amount of frees and in some cases spent very high wages on them (e.g. Diouf is reported to be one of the highest earners at the club).
Don't think putting Morisson in there gives a true figure. Would be like swapping a lamp post for a 4m valued McCormack and then saying McDs spending was 4 million
