Is it the back 4 or is it Mignolet?

ah.... well they said the same about lovern....

he's a decent defender but he's on left cos ivanovic is on right and if you note starting positions then ivanovic is actually more attacking! for me he'd be unspellable on the right and a real LB play for balance but ivanoivc is undroppable too.

in the end cheslea are all about the spine and hazard.... willian say on the right aint so important and often gets rotated.

to play chelsea you have to surrender the wings and pull in your side and pack the centre IMO.

Azpi is a quality defender - would love him at Liverpool.

Manquillo certainly has the potential to be similar. <ok>

Except for Valencia who has betean Jose leading to us losing against United a year or so back - not the first time he's beaten him.

    I do like him though.

May have actually misread your post lol

Enrique is a very poor defender. The only thing he can do is shield the ball. He is top class in that respect.

He doesn't get beaten by pace as he's one of the quickest in the league. Can't be outmuscled as one of the strongest.

He's calm on the ball (sometimes a little bit too casual) but doesn't just whack it long.

I think he's a top quality defender when on form.

He won't get beaten by pace but he's easily beaten by skill and movement.

He dwells far too much on the ball and he loses possession quite a lot. I do admire his confidence and he does try.

Poor heading, postioning, marking and concentration - in fact, Johnson and Skrtel suffer the same as well. Hence why our defence has been sh*t for the past 3-4 years.

He's not starting quality but I wouldn't be 'upset' if he's starting.

When on form I would agree - really good forward outlet too.

But when he isn't he's absolute pony.

That's why players need a run games instead of a game here and there Rodgers!!!!!
