Yes it was boorish, imbecilic, racist and probably drunken behaviour. And very unpleasant for the man involved.

But with the Eurozone and the Middle East going to hell, the Russian Bear flexing his muscles and drug-resistant Malaria spreading I think the Beeb have their priorities a bit skewed.

Ban the saps and move on.
