Time will tell frankly. I'd have been happy with Barton saying he was gutted, but given that Nolan was the man who allegedly encouraged Andy Carroll to go to Liverpool it seems a very strange situation, and a kneejerk tweet on the way to the races about him, Enrique and Jonas being 'next' isn't honesty, its ****stirring. Nolans happily trotted his way to the Championship, Barton trying to engineer moves for himself and two other players is harmful to the club that pay his wages. Its at best stupid, and at worst an insult to the fans that pay his wages.
