    He's one of my fav players of all time but not top 10 quality wise, favourite and best are not always the same.

    Ricardo Carvalho was ****ing brilliant for Chelsea, IMO. Sol Campbell deserves a mention too. Ledley King? Was brilliant bar his injuries. Carragher also in with a shout.

    What I'm saying is Hyypia might sneak into the top 10 as 9th or 10th, but he's nowhere near top of the list.

    Ledley King could have gone on to become the best had it not been for injuries.

    Vidic and Carvalho are certainly up there in my time.

    I agree. Terry is a good defender in his own right but Carvalho was levels above. Same as Vidic and Rio.

    All terry had to do back then was go attack the ball and not care what was getting in behind him. made him look a hero. Carvalho was sweeping up everything... and cech then stopped what did get through.

    Without carvalho terry would be just another english hack who ****ed over his team mates.
