DT - disagree..but it is my experience - I was sat with a bunch of locals who were not kids and who were slagging PARk and the others off. I looked at the Wembley turnout - I was with mates who can't afford to go every week who are all local - 1 person's experience of course - so come the big stadium I think it is all about the local outreach, ticket prices, school affiliations etc - I think we are still a bit 'special' and local....
Just re-read this and it struck me..... How would Swans react if Garry Monk went to Cardiff and took Bony with him. Bet it wouldn't be seen as just a game then. Just a thought.
Stupid question. As a percentage how much does the players choice come into play, 10%, 20%? I was always under the assumption that it was managements decisions, and the player either approved or got walking papers. BTW - What is the point of signing contracts these days, they seem to have the value of toilet paper?
couldnt give a toss TBH When he played he did try and he openly admitted he wanted CL football. Cant blame a player for fullfilling his dreams given the chance. He never lied or hid the fact about what he wanted. Just a shame he's gone to such a scummy racist team. Honestly couldnt care less what he does now and should be treated as any other opposing player.
Exactly this. I will boo and whistle him the same as every Chelsea player on the pitch as we need to create an intimidating atmosphere at HQ. He certainly does not deserve any sort of recognition for past services as he did f**k all really and in my mind will certainly not be warmly remembered.
As they say in the classics ...................... "the grass is not always greener on the otherside" and no doubt Remy will bench sit often but this was his choice. No hard feelings. Onwards and upwards to our great club.
But he does get free entry to watch Champions League Football and a great seat, right at the front and near the halfway line.
That sure beats playing every week and being the star of the team............. why didn't l see that?
