That's really interesting and completely disproves the notion that the Premier League is more open while Spain is predictable and dominated by certain clubs.

By way of comparison in Italy its:
    Juve 8
    Milan 6
    Inter 5
    Roma 1
    Lazio 1

I don't agree that Serie A is boring, I've seen some great games recently with lots of goals, if you steer clear of Juve battering teams then there are some nice games to watch and the advantage Serie A has over other leagues is that it lets the old stars play out a lot longer than they usually do, Tottis finishing this year for example has been a joy to watch and some of his other antics too (taking a selfie after a goal). Valencia is a nice team to follow in Spain also if you get sick of Real and Barca like I do and they have some excellent players like Parejo and Piatti

I've always enjoyed watching serie A. Not as much as I did a decade or so ago but it still has its moments. Loss less talent in that league nowadays, but I feel like that about most leagues. Probably just the nostalgia.

i remember saying around 2009/2010 that the dominance or more accurately solid peak of the best English teams was under attack and under attack by their own successes on the field and in the bank .

This coincided with a rejuvenated Man City and a aspirational Spurs - it just causes the cream of the crop to be spread ever so thin.
It was easy for English football in the 2000s decade with a simple "Big four" that developed into 6 or 7 clubs - yet there are still only 4 Champions league places.
The best players in the world want to play in the CL first and foremost, yet choosing a Prem side to fulfill their aspirations became more and more complicated .

In the Prem since Ronaldo left , there has hardly been an injection of exciting players that love or hate , give the armchair fan that "hardon"

With the extra money flooding the lower levels of the prem , there are no easy games for any club now , look at how much City spent in the 2014 summer window !!! mental for a side about to begin its second season of consolidation - but its what can be spent nowadays .

Would the fall of cream of Italian dominance compare to the Prem ?
