i don't think so, but not in spite of the good reasons you put forth but beacuase of them. You see unlike the clubs in spain and england who seem to be run on mad business plans Bayern are properly run. They will not throw mad money at anyone. Robben is there why? cos he had to leave real, just like vdv is at spurs but actually bayern turned him down due to his demands.

Bayern are in an easier league and they do as you say dominate it. their philosophy though is more akin to arsenal than chelsea.

It is for those reasons that I say the big spenders like city, real, etc have pretty much got lots of wingers and i just think it is more likely bayern will sniff out the bargain guy they want to let go than hazard, especially if the fee is massive.

Well it depends. They spent £18m on a GK who only had 1 year left on his contract and wanted to go there. Ribery was bought for over £20m, as were Robben and Gomez (the latter reportedly over 30 euros.)

So they can and do spend big when they want a player and feel he'll be worth it. The one thing you might say is that they don't tend to spend a great deal of money on youngsters (say, under 23.) They tend to go for those who have proven themselves over a few seasons.
