I called them up just to find out the cost of having sky sports for a month and the guy took £4.50 off my price without me even asking. I hadn't even signed up to Sky Sports at that point. I have to say, the customer service was superb. I reckon if you play up to it a bit, they'd do you a deal. IMO it really depends who you get on the other end of the phone when you call and what mood their in!
You can usually get a deal if you threaten to leave. But I'm useless at stuff like that. I'm just so happy Virgin have got BT Sport, and I might be able to see some Europa games on there as well as Prem, I'll happily pay up like the mug I am. I've saved a fair bit though by not renewing my Spurs membership, and I won't be going to any games this year probably, so I'll save a right wedge on that, considering the cost of tickets, travel and pub expenditure.

Yeah I did. Well I wouldn't say it was a threat because I was fully prepared to go to Sky and I didn't want to say I'd leave as an empty threat. I told them I wanted a Tivo HD box so I could get the HD package, my one was a few years old and couldn't get HD and I wanted the record functions and that too. I rang to tell them this a few times over a period of months and on the last occassion told them I was going to change to SKY. Since then they've been calling me and sending me letters saying if I switch back to them I get a free Tivo box that they refused to give me which caused me to leave. At the sametime they also got arsey over the return of my digital box that they don't even use anymore, telling me to send it back to them at my expense. I told them to pick it up themselves and I've still got it knocking around somewhere. In short, their internet is great but they're pretty useless to deal with.
I've found that sucking air in through my teeth and refusing to hang up makes Virgin Media offer me deals. I've even set a reminder on my phone to call them every 12 months. Last year they wanted to charge me, um, £30 for the Tivo box, £30 to deliver it, £30 to install it, £30 to knock on my door... I think I said "oooo, that's sounds expensive" about 20 times. In the end, I got the lot for an extra £1 a month. I don't think they're allowed to offer stuff for free; there cannot be a zero value in the box on their computer screen; but they can offer things for a single pound. I pay just over £100 per month for: Tivo box V+ box Normal box XL package with Sky Sports Landline phone with free calls all the time 100mbit internet (only get 45mbit over the Wifi and that pisses me off) If their mobile phone packages weren't so expensive, I'd probably use them for that too.
So is it definitely not on ITV 4/ Channel 5? Bit pissed off about that to be honest if that's the case. Oh well Bloodzeed, I'll be on your stream again come Thursday night pal (hopefully!)

I see it as this: Lloris Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Rose Paulinho, Capoue, Dembele Townsend, Soldado, Sigurdsson Could be wrong. I'd expect plenty of movement from the front three and the full-backs to get forward quite a lot. Are we allowed to play Naughton at right-back, by the way? That's his correct position and we don't normally even consider doing it.
What did I say about Townsend taking his chances? That should ensure that the opposition is less defensive.
