moyes expereicne is donkey ball towards felliani who was a dm playing target man up top.

rodgers is a guy who's success initally came form fast wide players like dyer etc and shock horrow he had a mare at lfc until suarez and sturridge clicked and deleivered 2nd. now he's having a mare and under seriosu pressure.

the fact is the guy needs fast players like stelring but he's shuffled him round all over and cost him confidence and now the kids gets it and he doesn't run it. he doesn't know what the f to do. on the other hand coutinho hasn't that much pace and markovic is as odd as hell with zero end product and to top it badontelly.

rodgers has made his won bed.. simple as. if he gets to january still in 3 cups (thrid in cl group looks dodgy to me) and can get anwhere near stable and looking like 4th is not a million miles away (doubtful) then he might have a wondow to fix his problems.

i reckon in the main the carling cup might lose him his job if he gets an embaressing beating in QF but it'll not save it. its how far off 4th will we be by dec 31?

we need a serious forward to hide his blushes

welll...... sure but half that plan requires players to run at thier oppenents especially wide. we no longer attack a full backs channel.

once we socred v cheslea we were never going to hodl the lead which says we cannot do any of what donga said. sit back and hit on break AND then flop over cos in the transition is where cheslea will foul...

The ref made an error but in terms of the performance you were being well outplayed, so a draw would have been fortunate anyway.

And again I say the same applies to you in the derby had someone stuck an arm in front of Jagielka's thunderbolt, and then a penalty not given. And the ref didn't make 'an' error: he made at least three, including another blatant handball in the run-up to their first goal.

Did we 'deserve' a point? Undoubtedly not. You didn't in the derby either, and I've said at length what I think of Brendan's silly tactics given what he had to play with against the form team in the league, and what Jose did when the shoe was on the other foot back in April. I can't see anyone on here hiding from the fact that Chelsea are palpably a better team than us - but the same is true of them to United, yet can you imagine the furore in the Clog-sparker press had Ivanovic not been sent off and a goal resulted in the final moments? Did anyone say United didn't 'deserve' their point despite, in that first half especially, being mostly outplayed?

Again, not one mistake but several by Taylor. A star in the making if Webb and Riley get their way, no doubt.

If results were based on what people "deserve" and not what actually happens then just have judges award points instead

It's not the referee's job to not apply the rules just because it might help the team playing worse get a result

Can a ref disallow Baines' last penalty because it was hit so **** it didn't deserve to go in?

The game against Arsenal next Sunday now a must win one...otherwise Brendan Rodgers is going to get the sack.
