And there we go. You really are an angry little man Swords. Finglas was merely giving you a counter-argument and this response was way out of line...............again.
Queens Swords etc Taarabt will be back and with a bang and inside you know it Harold has explored the great tool box of a squad we have ... He knows what we can do he knows we have talent and he knows we can play ... It's just about putting that run together and then all the players will become the heroes I already know they are. Taarabt will be key in creatively pushing this team forward you only need to look at the West Ham game at home this season to see what happens . The boy is a genius and is learning all the time and already by far the best to wear the shirt running Thomas a close second. Taarabt is QPR ... Did Bowles or Marsh work hard? Not as hard as Adel Sick of reading stuff that is just unbelievable about a player we should all admire ... He is ours and as QPR you should be proud he wears our shirt. **** the ****wit Shearer he will in the end look very foolish to suggest Adel is a striker what a knob Now cut this Adel **** out and get behind the team ... The pair of you have been proved wrong time and time again with his talent There will be very few of us on this site who stick with the faith.
well i was going to say what a good thread this was as it was about tactics and not about the player. but it is starting to get nasty. too be fair to both queens and swords, neither of them has come on here and slagged off adel and have made good points. why every one is getting on their backs is beyond me. i started this thread as i am a huge adel fan i think he has improved so much since the championship days. it was probably the only thing hughes also got right, getting adel to improve as warnock ****ed it up completely. we won this weekend with out him on the pitch and we also scored twice i cant even remember when that happened. if the team perform better on the pitch with out adel. adel might not be the problem as such. with out him they have to play a different type of game. as so many people say he is our only play maker which might be true but he is not winning us games. one thing i would say is adel seems to make the same mistakes week in week out. how many times in a match will he hold on to the ball to long or not give a simple pass and dont get me started on his free kicks and corners. it will be an interesting one to see play out in the last games of the season. as long as we keep winning i dont care who players. COYR's
QLR, Swords may not have come on here and slagged off Adel. Yet, he sees fit to personally abuse me for raising a counter argument, ie. the previous time Adel didn't play, we were beaten 2-4 by a league one side. That is a perfectly reasonable argument to make and was made in a perfectly polite manner. Swords saw fit to accuse me of "wading in" and "dragging the thread into the gutter again". Neither of which was true. I asked him to explain how I had done both of those things and he failed to reply as he was rumbled for deliberately stirring things up. I am sorry this thread went the way it did but one person bares sole responsibility, ie. Swords. Heres a question, in almost 2 seasons in the Premiership, how many other games have we won without Adel??? I don't know the answer off the top of my head but I believe the vast majority of our wins in the Premiership involved Adel. How would you explain that? How many games did we win in the Championship without Adel? Over to the stattos.
OK Swords, I got your PM. Thanks very much for your sincere apology. I will graciously accept. Matter closed.
Fing, I dont know how many we've won without Adel & I would be genuinely intrested to know? That does really make any diffrence though mate does it. i could say lok at how we played against Man City at the end of the season. Adel wasnt on the park then either. We were beating the premiership Champions on thier own patch quite comfortably with no AT in sight? point Im making is that using stats like that can prove absolutely anything you want. Some people love Adel and thats thier choice. Personallly I thought he was great in the NPC but not so good in the Prem, thats my opinion. What riles people is when we are constantly told how fantastic he is based on his NPC performances. They mean nothing in this league. I think that looking at Swansea & Norwich and the way they play may be a good idea. They play as a team with all 11 contributing. Not so sur we have ever done that since At joined? I dont blame him for it but more Colin's give it to Adel philosophy. It was never going to work in the premiership. Even Man Utd, Chelsea etc cannot play that style of football & believe me, we are no-where near them. So again in response to the OP. Yes Adel is a good player but he is also a huge hinderance in the style/ way we play. He does have plus points but for where we are at our stage of development he takes away our developing as a team. We may initially lose more game without him, that i understand, but over time we will become a better TEAM. I dont hold him personally responible for anything (except maybe that penalty) but I also dont credit him with much this season either. You & all his supporters have to admit that these last 18 months have not been what you envisaged for Adel? Surely? Anyway QLDR..give me my name back. Told you it would go this way..as usual?
Oh ****ing hell lads. Am I supposed to read all of your **** to see some thread related posts? pardon my french
Pirate, most posted in answer to the OP. Just the usual suspect with thier own views that cannot be reasoned with.....was a good OP IMHO. Even the poster could not understand why his disciples keep gong on! tells you something eh?
That makes two Col. Sorry QL and Swords, I am not getting involved in anymore Adel debates this season irrespective of whether he performs good or bad. We all know each other's opinions. Lets just cheer on whoever plays in our team until the end of the season and enjoy it.
Feel free not to post on them then mate But if you had given QLDR the respect to read his post, you'd see that it wasnt about AT, It was about the way forward for our team. He was asking if there is a place in our developing team or not. Not wheter At walk on water Just when ever his name comes up, the blinkers go down and there is no reasonable debate. Fing, i respect your decision, although I'll be suprised if you stick to it ! I wont Gee you up about it!
