I haven't read it but am guessing there are different views to yours on it?

What I find difficult about the current situation is , if we have a great season and challenge for promotion , people will say good decision to stick with McCann , bet people wish they hadn’t slagged him off etc , but is that the case? He was brought in to manage in the championship , then failed and then would be excelling at a lower level - exactly same reason I always had a problem with the adolation for Hernandez - he was bought for big money to take us next level in the premier league, was pretty average then excelled in the championship ,but so he should have . Think that’s why even if we won the league I still wouldn’t like McCann , just dislike him a bit less

I think machine guns would solve a lot of problems. People riding on pavements next to a cycle lane, crossing the road when the little red man is lit, not indicating when approaching a roundabout as you wait to give them the right of way then suddenly turning off. Many other heinous offences are on the list as well...

Can't people make good decisions AND bad decisions?
The difference about Hernandez being better in the Championship is a bit unfair on McCann. He was presented with a much reduced budget for players yet he appears to have done well.

I suggested to my local Parish Council that we should have machine guns of the church tower, to take out the bell ringers, but they were having none of it. ****s.

Church Bell ringing is a wonderful sound. People who move to villages and then demand centuries 9f tradition are overturned are the ones the guns shoud be turned on.

We used to have our own Match Day Threads but we seem to be sharing them with the opposition. Is this a new policy?

We've lived here 25 years and have never had an issue previously, but the current ****ers have decided that in addition to playing them for weddings, funerals, christenings, services etc, that they now need to practice for two hours every Wednesday night, along with ringing them to celebrate everything from D-Day to Doris from No.3's birthday. It's unreasonable and the machine guns would be entirely justified.

Sounds wonderful and so evocative of a rural idyll. You need to practice. Practice makes perfect. You never know your luck. You may have a place of worship built near you where they summon people to prayer 5 times a day.

I took the opportunity to have a go at bell ringing in a big church once. I'd never given it a lot of thought before, but as it occurred to that I'd only heard the end result, I asked how they practiced the tune and the changes as each peel involves people on different bells and different timings, and you can't really just stop an individual bell.

My lot don't know any tunes, I don't know why they call it 'practice' on a Wednesday, there's never any improvement.

Plus those out doing their weekly shopping in the supermarket at 7.00 am when you are just trying to dash in to buy a pint of milk. Amazing how they have eyes in the backs of their heads and always get to the till before you and have an amazing story about next doors cat.
Then in the petrol station. I'd hang those from the pumps doing their weekly shopping in there, and paying their gas bill and want a months supply of lottery tickets checking, then pay by card.

Anyone who does the weekly shop in a petrol station is insane.

Or has a phobia of supermarkets.

Fortunately I always pay at the pumps. I would add to that women who slowly transfer their shopping from the checkout into bags then slowly transfer them into their trolley and then rummage for an eternity in a huge shopping bag to find their card instead of having the ****er ready.

You can buy everything but a coffin, and they'll be next, in Sewells petrol stations in Hull. R.Sewells more like. And it's the dearest petrol in Yorkshire.

It's funny, because the cheapest petrol is almost universally found attached to a supermarket (I think Asda in Bilton is the cheapest near me), yet they still go into the little shop instead of the actual supermarket.

The only time buying from a station is logical is if your car is knackered and needs something there and then.
