I forgot this will be the first window with the new scouting in place with some actual time to plan. I know it wasn't a promising appointment, but Steve Nickson has picked up a few gems before in Aarons, Perez (he was good once!) and Mbabu who have all been low-cost, high potential purchases. Hopefully there's a couple like that if only to flesh out the ****ing numbers. Anything that stretches the pitiful sum we'll be given to save our season like.
A scout on the cheap, like all things Ashley. The U-21's scout, given the big job - you get what you pay for. Watford invest heavily, results are clear. We shall see, but I don't hold out much hope when Ayoze Perez is the best he's done. Can't believe you even mentioned Mbabu tbh.
Looked good every game he played for us. Still don't get why we sold him. Aarons will be better than Perez if he actually gets to see the ****ing field
Perez was being courted by every ****er before a good old Pardewing/ Mclarening, Mbabu DID look good for us and id have him over Manquillo in a breath. Id play Aarons over all other wingers bar Ritchie when he's actually on form
