Loads, Far more than I thought. I have just facebooked the pub and asked them if they can cope with upto 100 people. That might be a conservative estimate. I am communicating directly with them now myself and I have asked them to clarify a few other things including veggie food (stainesey) so as soon as they come back with further info, I will let you all know.

Will be great to see everybody all decked out and happy.

Fin- Don't worry too much about veggie food.......I don't think I'll be too hungry on the day as the PMT will be nerve racking ;)

Fair play goose and Kingdom.

Hope Nutso can make it.

When my dad last heard from NUTS he said he reckons that he would come over for the final, but was threatening to bring his Bro' over with him as well. The thought of trying to get a word in edge ways between the pair of them and my old man....God help us. I think I'll give Kingsbury a swerve and stick to Sth Ruislip for my pre and post match pints!!

Finglas, I will be joining y'all with Mrs Nines and my two daughters and my best mate Steve and his boy. I've also received notification that my long standing fellow QPR fans from the White Horse would like to enjoy the company of the Irish R's at Hennessy's. ( What a great name that is. ) There is about twenty of them, all good and true R's. That makes for another 26! Give or take one or two. Can we accommodate them all or should I direct them elsewhere? They're all genuine lads who enjoy a pint and a sing-song and will be no bother.

999's at the moment I don't see a problem. The manager of the pub has assured me she will personally take care of us. They also mentioned that they will set the buffet out exclusively for us in the upstairs night club. I am waiting for the owner to ring me to discuss everything. I am thinking of asking them if we can have exclusive access to the upstairs bit on our own as there will be so many people. I have never been in the pub myself but I am glad that somebody who knows the pub can vouch that it is a decent place. Every pub within a 20 square mile radius of Wembley will be jammers so we will just have to make do as best we can.

As soon as I have everything clarified with the owner, I will confirm.

Cheers finglas, you're doing a grand job. Your efforts as always are appreciated by all of us. It's folk like you that drive this board. Nice one mate.

Sorry to intrude guys but, as a regular in Hennessys, I should point out that this isn't the biggest pub in the world - upstairs holds about 150 and downstairs would be around the same. I'd also warn you that it's not far off being a QPR pub anyway. When you were in the premier league they showed all your matches live and the place was very busy - and is when you're on the box this season - so it will be crowded before including all of you you - but with Rs fans. Still, Rangers will have the run of the place upstairs and downstairs which is pretty rare in there on big match days.

There's 2 other pubs nearby, one a Wetherspoons, if it gets too crowded and a Corals next door............

The possible crowding issue aside you've made a good choice there - have a great day.

Thanks for confirming Dan. The Manager assures me she will look after us personally and that they are used to dealing with large crowds for Wembley matches and gigs that they have in the pub. I think she said they can cater for 450 customers or something. Capacity of 150 upstairs might be about right.

If they are going to lay on a big buffet, we would need to repay them by buying a load of drink. I'm game.

Thanks again for your thoughts Dan.

This is turning into an epic event......I hope they put on extra bar staff. At the C&S on Monday it was about 8 deep at the bar and 100 degrees in there. I was forced to buy two pints for myself when I finally got served. And Roller drank one of them.

If NUTSO turns up give him my regards - I miss him on here.

Finglas, looking at me and possible 7 others. I am looking at going for a beer next week sometime to check it out. Will let you know anything I find out.

Great work Eamon - I think it might be prudent to be the one knocking on the door at 9am at this rate!

I would just urge a word of caution. Please don;t make plans yet until I have everything clarified with the owner.

I have a horrible vision of 150 QPR Not606ers and assorted hangers on standing on a platform at 2.15 on the 24th praying for an empty train to arrive. And a urinal.

I am well known (in my family) for excessive caution in timing for flights, trains etc, I reckon I'd be leaving the bar at 1.15/1.30 latest. As Beth says, its too far to walk (I was born in the old Honeypot Lane maternity hospital too Beth)

Agree Stan. On days like this (Wembley final) it is important to be in good and early to show our presence, could be vital. The usual late Loftus Road entrance won't do.

Yes will get to pub as early as possible, so I can leave earlyish...to get to wembley earlyish..too get the atmosphere...To walk up Wembley Way...fairly slowly, to take in the atmosphere...wearing my colours

cannot believe it now...it is real

My plan is to get to the stadium for 2pm. Soak up the atmosphere, have my bladder well and truly emptied before the game starts.
