I'm pretty easy. Think that it would be nice to meet ourselves before we go to HQ, as many of us would like the chance to also meet several of the non-Irish guys/beth on here during our trip to HQ.
Cheers Grinning. I do consider myself to be a TRUE DUB. I am also self employed with a bit of time on my hands so it would be no problem to pick people up and run them to hotels etc. As regards pubs who would be willing to show matches, I passed Slatterys in Capel Street the other day and they had a sign outside saying private room available free of charge. I could easily pop in and ask them could we watch one of our matches there?? Capel Street is very central. Thoughts?

Can we agree on the dates; Dublin meeting in a location TBC by finglas on Sat 25 Aug to watch away game Trip to Tipp (sorry HQ) on weekend of Reading game. All in favour raise your hands
OK lads, the TV games have now been announced so now we can begin our discussions and make our choices in ernest. For the Dublin meet up and an away match, we are live on the box twice 1st Sept V Man City and away to Spurs 23rd September. I would suggest the City game would be the better game to organise as the all-Ireland football final is on 23rd September and for those travelling from outside Dublin who need hotel rooms, they would have to pay top Dollar that weekend. For the Kilkenny fans who only go to finals, your final is on 9th September. The City game is the live game on a Saturday evening 5.30 kick off and therefore will be shown live in all the pubs. For the trip to London, the Reading game has been moved to Sunday 4th November 1.30 kick off. How do you all feel about that? Some people don't like travelling over to a match that is being shown on TV. You could still go on the Saturday, stay overnight and come back on the Sunday evening? Thoughts? In my opinion, I don't see a problem getting tickets if this is the game people want to see.
If you would prefer to travel to London to see a game that is not been shown on TV live, the game that sticks out is V Southampton on 17th November. The Everton and West Ham home games are both being shown live. I would imagine the Chelsea game would be hard to get tickets for. The only other one is the first game of the season V Swansea. Please feel free to voice your opinions.
typical, the reading games on tv. I'm open to offers then. re the meet in Dublin I'm easy with that too. depends on when the English lads can get over. and regards my bladder control you're ok lads my cousin and brother said I can stay with them!!
Not quite sure that is how i phrased it, if i did i don't think i would be alive to type this reply!!!! Swans game sounds a decent enough shout might be over there for that weekend anyway so depends on how easy it is to get tickets Trip to Dub for a televised game would be sound open to any suggestions Up the R's
i am booked for swans trip. Arriving early, 7.15 Belfast to heathrow. Overnighter, would meet up with any lads going over on Dublin flights.
