You give far too much credit to the RFU here, QPRNUTS. Let's not forget that the clear out only started 14 months ago after a trainwreck of a world cup and that the RFU only appointed Lancaster on an interim basis whilst the senior people felt they could still get Sir Clive Woodward. The rest of what you said is true, but the RFU lucked into appointing Lancaster after a hugely embarrassing period of in-fighting and certainly have no more foresight than the IRFU.
Agreed. The RFU have messed up badly in the last few years and that's why England went to sh*t. They've finally appointed a real good Coach (and a gentleman too) and he's been busy clearing out the chaff and bringing in quality young players. If England win this Championship/Grand Slam, the credit should go to Lancaster and his players - not the RFU.
