Iran has been under constant threat from the West since they overthrew the Us puppet Monarchist Shah (look up SAVAK). It makes me laugh when I read of our great wars for 'democracy and freedom'. Most of our allies are dictatorships or monarchies, or in the case of Afghanistan, a drug lord. Iran isn't the biggest danger to world peace, it's the Americans.
