Hi all,

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the Amazon issue yesterday, but my Saintsplayer has died on me.

I know some people were on the hunt for a new provider, so if anyone has any recommendations, I’m all ears.

if you are happy to share in a post here, great. If you would rather some anonymity, please DM me.

Thanks in advance.

Nobody's perfect.

Labour, after having their arms twisted into holding a national inquiry into rape gangs are now trying to change the remit.
This was the inquiry that Jess Phillips, Kier Starmer and at least three posters on here said was unnecessary.
After Baroness Casey's audit, Starmer was forced to relent and announced in June that a national inquiry would now take place.
4 months later the chair of this inquiry has still to be appointed. Two people being considered to lead the inquiry were a former senior social worker (now withdrawn) and a former deputy chief constable. As the social services and police are two of the groups most likely to receive close scrutiny into their behaviour, they were not seen as impartial.
This, along with trying to change the remit to include all rape gangs rather than just the cases involved in the cover up, (as Baroness Casey's audit had recommended) has led to three of the abuse survivor representatives to resign their positions.

Jess Phillips is a disgusting politician who is now trying to dilute the inquiry, and it would seem has been caught lying. I hope we will soon see the last of her.

I would hold fire for anyone looking for IPTV recommendations ATM, amazon have started to block side loaded apps on fire sticks apparently.
Definitely looks like the beginning of the end until the next way round becomes available.

Old sticks are fine at the moment, it's the latest stick that's running off of a different program that's causing the issues.

I think there is definitely a crackdown, but I think what they are doing is taking away the ease at which you can stream and with it removing most customers.

The new fire sticks are no longer Android based, but have a proprietary operating system (eg closed source) so you cannot side load apps that are not from the Amazon App Store. You can still stream using android or other open source operating systems.

Also there are some legit apps that can happen to stream illegal (as well as legal) content. IPTV Smarters is an example - I have it installed on my Apple TVs that being Apple are closed source.

I think the crux of the matter is that there will always be streaming, but it won’t be so click and play as it is now and that by nature will stop a lot of people doing it.

Me too. My stream on Wednesday was buffering like a bastard though, despite my router sucking in 900 MBS.
No buffering this side of the North Sea, I'm getting 1107 Mbps with a wire connection, fibre is available, I'm happy with what I have for now.
