3 Points in the bag. Certainly well deserved but Ipswich must be the worst team in the League though, worst I've seen yet. And we only won from the early og Keeper error, and a pen given after we had blasted over the loose ball from 5 meters after Exe was brought down. Lots of good chances but our finishing was bad again.

Indeed. We wasted so many opportunities to really nail them but the final ball and finishing were not good enough. Ipswich are terrible!

Just back at home!

That was the most comfortable win I can recall seeing from us!

Ipswich were awful, but we were quite good.

I'm not sure how you would give a mark to Lumley though. Ten for no mistakes & superb handling or nil for having nothing to do!

No standout players for me. Just a good team performance.

Enjoy your week KooPee Are. I will!

I had the pleasure of the company of Beth & Roller for this game with my wife delivering & collecting us from the ground.

A most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

I was worried after the first five minutes when they came at us but pretty easy after that.

It's that huge difference of having creative players to try to get the ball to (wife saying that they'd love a player like Eze).

We overloaded the wide areas and they didn't dare get close to Pav and Freeman who put plenty of decent, if not spectacular, crosses in all afternoon.

We moved the ball around crisply in the final third and looked threatening throughout. The main negative was the finishing which will leave us in trouble against less generous opposition. Eze was unable to convert a couple of good chances on the break (lack of pace over longer distances his undoing in the second one where the defender got back to block). He did make amends with a delightful chip onto the bar though.

Lynch and Leistner both solid. Lumley handled well and distributed fine enough and that's about all that could be asked of him. Both fullbacks were effective support for the attackers and the two central mids were industrious.

No weak links but probably no standout performances in an effective and enjoyable win.

Possible negative was a bizarre feeling that Eze and not Hemed was like the target man for spells but that could have just been the way the longer balls panned out.

Now to hone my magnanimous tone and expression (actually feel a bit sorry for Ipswich TBH) ...

Every week we seem to play the worst team in the league
Apart from Lampards team they’ve all been crap!
Therefore we are good enough to go up
