Yes we are off and running Diego. Gives us some confidence for next week at qpr. A good good win and I get bragging rights at work over resident lion. Woo hoo.

A low scoring day for most teams today, only us and Watford scored three or more. We're in the top half and that's where I want us to stay all season.

Just got back from the game (after a celebratory drink!) and I thought it was a good win for us today against a rather poor Millwall side. I don't remember them having a single shot on target! Fair play to our defence though, a solid performance with Tommy winning absolutely everything in the air as usual. Hewitt impresses me every time I see him and again today he put in some great tackles and looks like he could really pose a threat getting balls into the box.

Murphy and Mcgoldrick both put in a good shift, but as a partnership I don't think it really works, we need someone who can run through the middle and get on the end of passes.

First time seeing Anderson play today and I thought he was fantastic. Not sure if the goal was given to him or as an OG but I thought he deserved to score.

Except for the final 10mins we were in control of the match and it really should have been 4-0 when tunnicliffe was through 1on1 with the keeper. We didn't have that many chances, but those we did we took and that is a welcome change from the games of the past. We were good but Millwall were poor, until we get a striker to compliment our target men I can't see us in the top 6 but definitely top 10/top half if we play like that every week!

Must admit i would like to see taylor up top with didds, even though murps does a huge amount of hard graft. Also tunnicliffe impressed me hugely, can't wait to see more of him.

Good win, very solid at the back, but we need an injection of pace into the midfield, and upfront

Heard tunnicliffe did well when he came on. Wrighty you thinking give Taylor a shot up front with mcgoldrick. How about Anderson fellas. Does he look a good swap for jet. Seems to be a difference of opinion on whether 3rd is his or an og. We can go to loftus road next week with confidence for what will be a hard game.

    Fantastic win, GET IN !!!

    very very happy with that.

That is our season well and truly off and running. Shame about an absolutely SHOCKING attendance for an opening game too. How many are going to turn up for the B/ C prices !? ridiculous!

So how did each player perform today then!?

Thought we looked very solid throughout apart from the start of the 2nd half when Millwall looked quite dangerous. Typical MM team really very solid and effective but not much flair. Skues looks good, but I'm not sure about him and Hyam in the middle, because they are a bit. Similarly I think Murphy and McGoldrick may struggle to score enough goals as a pair. Hewitt was a big plus and I think Tunnicliffe has a lot to offer. I'm quietly optimistic for a half decent season. Top 10 finish ought to be the minimum we are looking for.

Pleased to know our ex-Bristol City boys have started well for ya...by the way, JET is already a hero here at Ashton Gate, onwards & upwards for both our clubs.

I think we looked good all over the park, solid in defence, calm in midfield(Skuse particularly), And a good partnership upfront.

Millwall did have a few good spells but never stretched us too much.

A clean sheet and three goals scored............ very impressed...

Tunnicliffe looks a good prospect, looked very assured, and looks like he might have some creativity about his game, although we haven't really seen enough of him to sure of this, but he did look promising. Don't see too much future with Hyam and Skuse both playing in midfield, they are too much alike, and it gives us an imbalance, if Tunnicliffe can stake a claim Mick might possibly have him and Skuse in midfield, with Hyam being second choice
