have to agree with that johnny . our (young) midfield pretty much ran the show . thought you weren't goin tho johnny . lol

No question the midfield won it for us. Protected the back four well and brought the front three into the game. Never stopped running for 90 minutes. Shame Chopra couldn't do the same, he looks a bit out of shape but lively first half.

ALB played very well also.
 
good result for you. We turned up thinking the game was already won, and your team raised their game for what is one of their big games of the season. We beat Man U 4-0 last season, apart from the jubilation of winning by such a large margin I was a bit disgusted that the team didn't play like they did that night all the time, or even once in 5 or 6 games.
Part of me is glad we got a good spanking, maybe it's the wake-up call the players have needed, I'm pretty shocked we've managed to move up the table the way we've been playing the last 2 months, a shock to the system like this might make them realise turning up isn't enough.
