They had more possession than us 54-46, they had more shots than us, 16-11. It could easily have been a different game had they taken a lead in the 1st half. We just took our chances for once.
So how many of those first half shots/chances they had were good ones? One scramble they had...and a long range effort. We had 3 clear chances...3. So if anyone was likely to go in ahead at half time it was US.
Once again, you betray a bizarre (lack of) understanding of the game. How could we have lost 3-1 with the exact same performance? It was precisely the performance that won us the game. Its so easy being constantly negative. It requires absolutely zero effort. Even United's treble winning team no doubt had some know-it-all clowns mugging them off. It takes thought, endeavor and insight to build a positive case for something. Attributes you're entirely lacking in.

I really don't think we were very good in the first half - I'm amazed that some people think we were okay! At that point, yes, I thought we would go on to lose which I was obviously wrong about. I'm more than happy to admit that. If you bother to trawl back through the posts, I actually said something positive about Henry when he came on for Barton - counter to what most others were saying. I didn't moan about the manager for that substitution. If you look at the last few games, the starting XI has not performed at a level which is acceptable - a concern to many rangers. There's nothing wrong with questioning this. As for accusing Flyer and I of having 'weak personalities' because we disagree with you - well that's just childish! If it makes you happy however, feel free to carry on with the name-calling and psychoanalysis.

There was nothing wrong with our first half performance IMO. It was a very even game with chances for both sides, against a good team in their own ground. Who the hell do people think we are? Fu*king Real Madrid?

Excellent result, I think we should concentrate on simply getting the results now rather than looking for Barca-type performances. The top is really beginning to stretch now, if we can stay with the pace I'm sure we'll wear Burnley down, today's result will buoy the confidence and let Leicester know we're still in the hunt. Many more twists and turns to come. Watch out for Wigan, I still think they can close the gap...

Was a little worried at HT that we might stumble but 2nd half performance was just what the doctor ordered One thing I will say, all those predicting Burnley were a flash in the pan sold them well short. I've been v impressed with how Dyche is grinding good performances from a limited squad. We need to maintain our 2nd half performance level from now on I can have a nice Saturday night now
