Sorry to see the lack of comments on here today. Performance was patchy but great goals and in Burke DeWijs and Batty we have uncovered 3 good players this season. Shouldn't be forgotten.
i reckon keeping the 2 cbs and pugh would go some way to getting part the mass exit apocalypse happening this summer.
I am pleased to say this turned out much better than I expected. I really thought we would go a lose to them, but credit to all concerned for finally getting an away win and a clean sheet. It is still a tall order to reach the playoffs, but if results go our way and we keep on winning who knows, stranger things have happened before.
Good win against a team that looked much better than its bottom of the table position suggests. Without the two late QPR goals we would be only three points off a play-off spot with seven games to play. While we will almost certainly lose our two wingers/top attacking threats in the off season we will retain a strong back four and replacement GK, as well as a good young center mid-field, and should be at least a mid-table championship side next season if Nigel stays and can strengthen up front.
Some of the tweets on twitter between our fans are quite sad to see really. One group making fun of the other with stupid photoshopped tweets and insults, the so one from other group responds with threats. Blocks getting handed out everywhere. Ridiculous. Go and enjoy the game all of you
Who are these 'groups' Cortez? Anti-Pro Allam? It's hard to imagine there are pro Allam groups. A few deluded individuals maybe.
Not really sure it’s like an Allam thing this one. Just seem to be arguing over a whole lot of nothing.
Nige won’t even be talking about play offs. The focus is on the next three points. A good away win always lifts the spirits. Clean sheet and some good defensive blocks plus two good goals. There maybe a lack of interest in places but we have to be pleased to be in this position with a few games to go. We need to sort out the membership scheme before next year and personally I think that would go a long way towards healing the rift. I don’t think there is a single chance of this happening with the owners. If we get good money through player sell ons and Bowen the debt will be reduced and that’s the best chance of getting rid of the clowns. That’s the best I am hoping for.
