Match Day Thread Ipswich Town v Sunderland - Tuesday 26th January - KO 19:45

Wyke and Scowen both very good tonight. Nobody stood out as weak / poor. Even McFadzean was decent.

Frankly tho, Ipswich were abysmal.

 

That was a hard watch but the 3 points are all that really matters

Wasnt a great game but 3 points, clean sheet and onto the next game.

We're winning games whilst still not playing that great - good sign imo. Also hopefully build some momentum now.

What we need now is the takeover announced to stop everyone crapping it, Grigg and Graham out of the club and LJ's re-enforcements signed up before the end of the month

I'll settle for a good left back atm. McFadzean is very poor. Every time we went over to him he got in to trouble.

I thought Obrien did well too.

 

Absolutely awful that, I’ll take it all day, but lucky to get the win in the end. The lack of creativity in the side is very alarming.

wouldnt say we were lucky to win. We deserved to win.

But I would say we were lucky Ipswich were so poor. They offered absolutely nothing. Utterly clueless. Lambert literally hiding all game.

Potentially controversial opinion alert but I’d have Gooch or Diamond in ahead of McGeady at the moment. Think McGeady off the bench could suit him better.
