    Remember his goal at Elland Road against Chelski?
    Sat next to Leslie Ash at an England B game at Watford back in the day. Went to see the Leeds players:

    27 April 1991 - England 1 Iceland A 0 [0-0]
    Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford (3,814) Clough
    England: Nigel Spink, R.Joseph, Tony Dorigo, David Batty, Gary Mabbutt, Gary Pallister (Keith Curle), David White, Nigel Clough, L.Chapman (Brian Deane), Steve Hodge, Warren Barton (Paul Stewart).

    I think only three players in that team were playing for Leeds (Batty, Dorigo and Chapman) at the time - there were others who would later play for Leeds - Steve Hodge, David White? and Brian Deane

    As soon as i saw the side i was nervous.no spine in this lineup.monk has taken a chance again and its not working.no sacko for me he was cack last game.bridcutt should be in too.

    Has Monk lost the plot with that line-up? What was the point of signing the two new wide players if they are going to be bench warmers, why didn't we sign two players who would make a difference, Dallas and Sacko?
