In my mind if we are to have a director of football why couldn't it be a British director of football. Why has victor orta landed at Leeds and suddenly knows that we need loads of unknown foreign second and third tier players to lead us to the prem,when every person who watches us knows we're crying out for experienced championship players which are by and large are British. The championship is not all about tippy tappy football it's about hard work and a desire to win but mainly it's about consistency. We need players to provide those 3 things to allow the likes of saiz and Hernandez to do their thing.

The debate around DoF & foreign managers is a funny one because is you look at the Prem when a side is struggling & getting further towards bottom 3 the manager gets sacked. The managers who are brought in always are: Hodgson, Pulis, Allerdyce, Moyes, Pardew. In the lower Prem/Champs Bruce, Macarthy & Warnock and all are from the UK. So when tippy tappy fails and blood sweat and tears required maybe UK is best for UK?
