But that’s relevant as it’s this season. Surely discussing Grayson is now as pointless as discussing Reid, Venables or O Leary as managers

I was discussing Grayson when he was here and getting hammered and signing rubbish players and picking his team out of a hat.

There’s been a hell of a lot worse than Grayson before or after. He won a promotion despite the owner. We haven’t had many that could say that

We haven't had many who could say that because he was the only manager we've ever had who had a full season in League 1.

It doesn't matter who the owner was, he had good players.

Name someone who's done worse than lose 5-0 at home to Blackpool.

Maybe reason he had a whole season in charge was because he was decent. I enjoyed a hell of a lot of Grayson time in charge

We lost 4 in a row without scoring in that whole season in League 1.

I think you only enjoyed it because we'd hit rock bottom and had started to do well again. A better manager would have done better with the players he had. I didn't enjoy it at all because I knew he was holding us back.

I remember the scenes at Elland Road after we were promoted. I enjoyed that big time

It was more a feeling of relief for me, he nearly messed that up. We should have walked that league.

What gets me is how clubs like Ipswich can get the likes of the Citeh loanee (who incidently scored) and we have to make do with dross

And he has played just about every game this year and then last year the dog botherers had some and in particular Mooy. Perhaps they actually watch them play before giving them a loan deal ? That said I'm not a fan of loanees, so suits me sir.

Have you just woken up a bit confused and you think it's 4 years ago and we have that bald scout as manager?

If he was that good they wouldn't be below us in the league. Alex Mowatt used to score goals like that for us, what's he doing now?

If we were making do with dross we wouldn't be 7th, level with 6th.

The garbage managers and players we've had here and they were treated like heroes, we have the best chance in 12 years of going up and you'd think we were in a relegation battle, it's disgusting.

All those years with no decent wingers, we get Alioski who scores and assists and has been one of our best players, he has a couple of quiet games and he may as well be Cameron Stewart the way people go on about him.

In a testament to how **** we really are and how badly Rad is running the club if the wallies beat us next week they may well finish above us.
I know that’s a big if but it does show how poor we are that it’s even possible.

I still believe if we’d have had a good striker here this season we’d be solid top 6 pushing promotion and banging on the door of second spot.

And we won’t have one without proper investment be it woods money rads or his Chinese friends. Villas winner last night was scored by a 12m pound striker and created by the man of the match Snoddy. Terry playing a blinder marshalling their defence. We all know about the wolves spending. With our approach we’ll still be in the championship in a decade

This debate is great and we should have more. Lots to agree with from almost everyone. My own view is Grayson would have been a legend if Bates had backed him in January as we would have done a back to back promotion just like Southampton. The last few years would have been different as we would have maybe bounced up and down before Bates selling us.....

Ristacs comment about Evans is true, as he was a cartoon character but did say he was going to make our joke forward much leaner and fitter and hey presto we had a new Wood who scored goals. He had fk all cash but did well with nothing.

Radz makes me feel like we are now managed by a professional organisation, laying foundations to the fabric of the club. I cannot make my mind up about Orta for obvious reasons, but I believe the DoF system is the way forward and the UK is the only country not adopting it and the UK has the worst performances in Champ League, International comps. So think we should embrace it and see what happens.

When Tommy landed I was open minded, then I loved the way he spoke, yhen I emjoyed his plan, his tactics in pre season and got exited about the squad. i thought we were awesome at the start of the season blowing teams away with effort, skill, tactics, yet since Milwall we have been shyte, why? Then players form has dropped in some cases, the selections have worried me, the second string have proved garbage, why? I am of the opinion that he has favourites and will do anything to fit a player in even if the team lose balance, flow which screws up tactics. Sacko yesterday why, Alioski on the left with a poor Cibicki squeezed in on the right, when Alioski could be better right and Dallas left? The bench has been a cartoon some weeks no striker, some weeks no DM just loads of wingers

Leeds United are in pole position to snap up the signing of Forest Green midfielder Jordan Stevens, according to a report.

The Mirror claimed in their live transfer blog on Sunday [03:03am] that Leeds are interested in bolstering their Under-23s side with a swoop for Stevens, 17, and are also in the hunt to sign Hull winger Tyler Hamilton.

It is understood that the Whites are facing competitions from the Premier League for midfield enforcer Stevens, with big-spending Everton and Brighton also in the chase.
