Really surprised Rusyn has been dropped. Not sure why we wouldn’t persist after a goal against Preston and the endeavour he showed last week working off pure scraps. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Ba have a really good game today - I can feel it.

 

Re Jobe starting. Whilst it's strange how he starts when he needs a rest. Surely we haven't got a clause in his contract that he has to play?

I don't believe that for a minute

 

I’d imagine we promised him game time but he gets plenty of that, you can drop players for a few games. It’s not as if he’s missing most games

 

Adil was also dreadful last game but I’d probably have picked him on the right. Either way that’s 3 coaches regularly picking Ba and that’s not for no reason.

 

Another game where all of our 4 strikers on the books get shafted out of the starting 11.

 

Stats wise Jobe more than pulls his weight but I imagine most of his good work in that area was earlier in the season, he looks knackered to me. Similar to Neil when we overplayed him a couple of seasons ago and his form dropped off a cliff.

 

It’s just not good enough. Pissed me off so ****ing much. Rusyn is good enough to play against a prem team yet dropped the very Nxt game wtf man.

 

I get why Ba is in but was hoping it was in place of Jobe who definitely needs a rest. You watch he'll have a stormer lol

Is this the third coach in last 6 months ago feel none of the forwards brought it can cut the mustard ? Doesn't say much about the recruitment in that area at all.

 

Hes only 22 mate, 20 when we were in League 1.

Theres a good player in there he just needs to mature and gain experience

 

Apart from Beale’s first league game against Coventry which we know was down to the coaching staff, we are unbeaten in the league under him.

I'd agree if he hadn't scored in his last league game and be trusted, and do pretty well considering the circumstances, to start against a PL team. I am absolutely baffled

 

Tbf I prefer jobe up front but the lad needs a break, played way too much for someone his age and looks to be burning out. How is rusyn ever going to get to the level without a fair run, burstow got one, why can’t he after scoring in his last league game.

We're never gonna get any consistency from our strikers when they are constantly being dropped for no reason.
