Definitely thought it was the wrong set up against the mags yet it was the team that won against Preston quite comfortably.
I picked up on how easily Preston came forward on their left as Pritchard wasn't quick enough to track back and Hume was left 2 on 1 early on. For some strange reason they never exploited even though I thought their LW was by far their best threat.
I'd like to see us change style slightly just to mix things up to take Ipswich by surprise, however we beat Leeds by sitting back slightly and hitting them on the break, get the right balance today and we could have a great day, go all out attack and I think they will punish us

I think it’ll be a cracking game and the Team of all Talents will be victorious.

I love all this stuff from the club ...

... but I'm sure it was a side last time, has it changed to an end?

I'd like to see a bit of evidence of lessons learned from last week. Less fannying about on the ball, more purpose going forwards.

Thanks again RTB for a brilliant thread. I've made my way down to this one and currently catching up with friends at the locomotive @Smug in Boots . Everyone says hello and hope all is well. Hoping for a decent performance and 3 points to make the journey back home enjoyable. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Just realised that the Mags are on TV at the same time as is. We have booked a table in the same Bly pub open in Hawkshead to coincide with the game, but there are more Man Coty fans here, so I might end up watching the wrong game!

I think the problem last week was we played out from the back as we always do, the biggest difference was the quality of the opposition that made us look so bad.
Then again if I was Ipswich I would be saying put pressure on and don't let them play out from the back most teams know how much possession we have so just let us have it rather than press
