x10 I was going out with the first Mrs. Tewkes for ten months while I was living in Eltham and she was living in Birmingham, so I can sympathise...
It got so bad that last season his girlfriend persuaded us to go to a home game at Charlton we went to the Colchester game! The last time I went to the Valley as a Town fan was back in 99/00 when we beat you 3-1. You had already been promoted as champions and it was just a big party atmosphere! Happy days eh..?
Those days will return ;-) As for this match, must win for us I think. Some have labelled it a relegation battle. Give me a break, it is very early in the season. Albeit I am not saying we wont be in such a battle come the end of the season!
For those of you who are going I hope you enjoy your trip up to Suffolk but that A12 can be a real bitch on a Saturday Morning!
We need to stop the rot a point at least another loss is unacceptable however it's achieved....luck won't come into 4 defeats in a row
I hope he plays Evina at LB. I don't like players out of position unless it's necessary. Good luck to those who go- I'm off to see the under-18's first time for ages.
Interesting, Skysports are saying that Waggy has been out injured and that he is not ready for Ipswich http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/262486/preview Sounds like Green on right and Kerkar on left then ...................Hamer................ Wilson....Cort.... Morrow......Solly Green....Hollands...Stephens....Kerkar ...........Kermit.......... .................Fuller..........
When Waggy was warming up at Birmingham City, he seemed to have to keep stopping for a breather - eventually, he sat down on the side of the pitch and didn't look right at all - he got up looking dodgy and made his way slowly off. Could have been a bug of some sort.
This is absolutely dreadful news from the Ipswich board. http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/21494/kiwomyas-son-dies Puts a football match sharply into context in the great scheme of things.
