I'll echo that. The best times I had with my dad, and continue to have, are at the football, particularly away. I don't really remember as far back as five but some of those awful QPR teams in the late 90s and early 00s when I was a bit older were great fun to follow away as a kid even if they averaged about three away wins a season.
It's quite obvious that QPR are just a means for you to vent Flyer. I'm sure you're a convivial chap in other aspects of your life, but going to Loftus road never seems to give you any pleasure whatsoever.
There's no subtly or nuance to your posting, it's all sweeping hyperbole. "flushed down the toilet", give me strength
LR hasn't given me any consistent pleasure since Hughes and Redknapp were appointed, I'm not alone.
The last second goal against Doncaster gave me a lot of pleasure...and Flyer...you seemed quite pleased too.
If you think Flyer is not a proper R, you should have seen him bounce around when Charlie scored.....he was happy with a capital H.
Much of the depression we/I put about (e.g. my predictions on the prediction league) is a simple defense mechanism, to prevent ourselves being hurt too much.....and we would be doing it even if we were a Manchester club and winning every week

The boys on to another victory , but can't afford it , what with the ferry costs and fuel ,so soon after Xmas . Would definitely be going if I were an hour away .only been able to afford two home game s so far this season .AND we won them both . Go don't regret it .

Well on my visit to Loftus Road for the Charlton game I experienced a dose of immense pleasure when Charlie scored that cracking goal at the School end where I sitting with Finglas, Flanman, Inky, Roller and other members of the Irish R's contingent. Of course we were up there on our feet bouncing around too, hugging one another!
You have to admit the rest of the game was pretty painful and unenjoyable though.
No one expects to win every week but a bit of passion and excitement wouldn't go amiss.
I went home from the home citeh 3-2 loss happy that we went toe to toe with them and could have won it, I'd be happy win, lose or draw if we played like that every week.
I am 23 minutes walk away (times quite precisely due it being near my workplace) so will be there.
Unfortunately, I'm sitting in the front row of the die-hard Ipswich section where my other half has her season ticket seat - domestic bliss in the making!
