Said a while ago Ipswich will do well this season - Especially if we get a lot of snow <yikes> Only joking before you slaughter me!

It's nice to see people thinking we could do well, but i'd be happy with a a play-off place.

West Ham / Leicester / Leeds / Burnley / Reading / Middlesbrough / Blackpool / Cardiff / Birmingham are all capable of being in the mix.

Should be an exciting one.

I dunno about Brum there are stories going about this morning that they'll have to sell alot of their players if they want to avoid administration, so they'll either have apoor team or start on -10. Possibly even both.

You maybe right Zoomba, but I also forgot to put Forest in there.

Point is there are an awful lot of good teams with similar ambition to us this year.

Like last year there will be 12 teams that will be in the frame for either auotmatic or play off places and even on the last weekend of the season there will be 3/4 teams capable of winning that 6th spot. It'll be tighter than a nunn's fanny

To be honest, it is probably easier to name the teams that we DON'T think have a playoff chance this season. Certainly the hardest season yet to predict.

It is interesting that so many teams rate our chances. They clearly have not seen the state of our back four...!

Around top half with what we have on books so far.

The difference is though is that there we're 12 teams who could have got promoted because nobody (QPR not included) took the league by the scruff of its neck like Newcastle and WBA did.

There are at least 5 teams that, in any ordinary season, would walk the league.

The standard of the championship is much, much better now.

One thing is for sure, it is the best chance on paper for a long while for a none relegated team to achieve promotion?

Not sure Blackpool will be strong
Brum look like they will drop straight through with seeling players and admin?
Only WHU look as though they may be able to challenge?

But the window is still open and if Parker and a couple of others get bought up, who knows?

Hull have signed players like Adebola and McKenna.

Plus Bullard is going.

Yes, we have to rely on Leicester, Forest and Man Utd cast offs. Never mind, musn't grumble we nearly went bust last year.

Leicester cast offs: Pearson, Hobbs, Fryatt

Man Utd cast offs: Chester, Dudgeon, Brady (loan), Stewart, Evans

Forest cast offs: McKenna, Adebola

Chuck in a Liverpool reserve loan cast off in Gulacsi

Arsenal cast off: Simpson

Reading cast off: Rosenior

Wonder what Pearson will do with that lot?

End up midtable with a completely average championship side?

and a WBA cast off: Koren

Absolutely completely average. No talent in that lot at all.

I've still got £20 on them.....

I can think of better ways of wasting your money, like ripping up a £20 note..
