Don’t underestimate the amount of blocks & tackles we got in tonight, even when we were 3-0 up. They had 16 corners and 70+ % possession. A great night. Well done to every man jack of them.
I have just stopped to post this message. I have parked a long walk away from the ground. What a win, I didn’t see that coming. Everyone of our players a hero. What a shift they all put in. I am buzzing. Got a bit of a drive home but I don’t care. All our players want to play for our Club and work so hard. I won’t be getting much sleep tonight. Support as great as ever. Not having watched all the games this season I'd hazard a guess this may be the best we have played. I did not like the first half, Ipswich played decent football, stuff I'd like us to play, BUT we had the better chances. However, two goals in three minutes changed everything and we could have ended up with four, our third would not have been allowed with VAR but who cares. Still only 25% of the season gone but have had the start nobody thought we'd have. Little Ivor wants us to play a certain way that is not attractive to watch but it has been successful so far since he was appointed.
