Trebs said i dont need vpn anyway

Have you actually got your firestick yet?

You know you could've just popped into a Currys and bought one over the counter.

Get a decent IPTV provider and you won't need the VPN. Everything else you install is legal.

Unless you stick KODI on it n' all like have in which case make sure you have one :bandit:

Depends on the IPTV provider but you can check that before signing up to any of them. One I had didn't have Apple+ or Disney but the current one does.

Kodi is still better for movies imo. They seem to come on there (HD) before they do on IPTV. But they do come eventually.

Yeh Schlem recommended me two (one as backup). One died about 6 months ago so be prepared for that to happen but tbh there are some which have been going for years so are more likely to stick around.

Schlem knows more about these things than I do but it depends on whether you're getting it from a middle-man supplier or the source itself? The middle-man ones are at greater risk of folding iirc. Something like that.

Im just gonna get what Schlem has, seems the safest option

i don't even know what iptv is and I'm too lazy to google it. All these dongles, wombats and firesticks ffs.

If there is a wombat stuck in your tv, I'm calling the RSPCA on you.

Netflix, Prime and Disney you have to pay for. If you've already got an Amazon Prime account though, that should be free. (Some shows anyway. Plenty of movies on Prime you have to pay for even if you have a Prime account).

I don't know if same channels offered in Britain as in the US (without VPN) but there are lots of channels that offer free films/shows with ads (mostly older) that don't require a subscription. If you have a firewall device, or attach a raspberry Pi and install pihole on it, you can actually block most of the ads on those free channels.

My household we have Prime, Hulu, Netflix, Disney and then Peacock for 9 months a year, for the football. Honestly it's a waste of money and way too much, but wife and kids complain every time I talk about dropping channels... So far I've given in... But would love to kick Netflix and Disney to the street.

I thought i got all the channels free?

I just want the football and movies and national geographic with no lag or buffering.

If it's a non modified Amazon Fire stick, no. You have to pay for the premium channels.

There are some "not quite fully legal" sticks out there which you can buy that are cracked to give you access to everything free. I dunno, probably some websites will tell you how to crack your own fire stick to do it too.

If you are going to use a cracked fire stick or go through some service that lets you see premium content for free you absolutely should use a VPN to make it slightly more difficult for the government to track you. They still could if they wanted to, but not likely to go after people in bulk that way.

Im only buying the stick for this iptv ****, which i assumed had everything on it for free (minus the year fee of course) so you telling me if i want sky football i need to have paid sky subscription?

I am a bit surprised the thread's been allowed to progress given this is dodgy as fck <laugh>
