Agreed - it will only deflect the crux of the thread. Musty - take that up elsewhere mate.

Cartoon - you saw what treatment I got across there with a genuine effort at conciliation. Whilst the vociferous minority (and there are only a few) are allowed to make such venonous comments, your forum across there has no future as an open discussion platform - it's dead apart from its' own mafia.

I urge you not to stop posting across here - we don't need back-patting from down the road, just good chat (with just a LITTLE bit of spice :emoticon-0105-wink:).

Ash, Cartoon, it is sad that you sometimes have to seek sanctuary here, but you are always welcome.

I don't bother with the Swans board on the whole. I'm all for banter, but the majority of my posts tend to be sensible debate. It is impossible to join a debate on the swans board as they are so suspicious. I tried some time ago to join in some threads, even sympathising the last time you lost a manager. It just gets thrown back in your face. Can't be arsed to be honest. It would be a shame to lose this board as it's a way of keeping in touch, especially being an 'exile'. It would be a shame to be hounded out, but life is too short for all this ****.

Just going to keep my head down and see how it pans out. Will continue to respond to your visits out of respect, but will ignore the idiots that come on here stirring it up.
 
I don't much go over to their boards, but I just had a glance through and was pretty much stunned by the infighting.
Now and again on this not606 boards you get a bit of bickering amongst your own, but its thread after thread on the Jack board, this tells a tale in itself.

They seem to advocate selective posting, if they like it then ok, if not then it gets closed down (we have ways of making you not talk!!! ).
Yet they are quite happy to go to other boards and enjoy the freedom to post what they like more or less, now that sounds familiar! bit like the outside world.

It's an idiotic way to run a board on a forum that invites fans to engage in football talk and banter.

Well done cartoonhead for trying. Personally I don't understand the bitterness as we are all Welsh and stand alongside at each other at international rugby and football singing the same anthem. Why is football at league level so different? Whenever Swansea play I always look out for their result and am glad they are doing so well.

I have never visited the Swansea board so have no idea how our fans behave on there. Banter is one thing but many comments from Swansea supporters on here go far beyond this. Our responses are nothing to be proud of either.

So to the children out there on both sides I would say play nicely.
