First and foremost this is and should always remain a football forum, full of like minded fans who have now been exchanging banter for a number of years. Humour has always been the strong point of 606 as opposed to the other two sites. Elf’s is a good guy & his idiosyncratic contributions make this site a better place IMO. That said, the Mods are good guys too & we should keep it to the football :emoticon-0148-yes:

I know that no harm was meant and I think we are going a little 'stir crazy' with all this talk about a takeover being 'done' & 'not done' .... back to the football .... or (today) egg chasing in my case!

Absolutely. The pressure is taking its toll. If Roland had a scrap of decency he'd pay for ALL Charlton fans to have counselling, and therapy to cope with the stress of his continued ownership. CARD should also make a contribution for Rick's constant teasing and raising our hopes. Personally I have turned to strong drink, but hey, each to his own.

Now that I am one of the moderators, I am very upset that I have not been consulted over a thread being deleted this afternoon.

Deletion of threads will have to be one of the MANY things needed to be discussed at our meeting.
