TBH chucky I find him quite funny, he really thinks he is good with his superior teachings, dont think he has worked out that we are laughing at him.
I really cannot believe that I just give my honest constructive opinion yet I get slagged off and pushed away. I never WUM. I just honestly contribute to the discussions because I love football - regardless of the team involved. However, if it's a negative comment from a fan of a rival team, then it MUST be some sort of wind-up or insult. I mean look back at my post. I was AGREEING with most of the mackem posters, so why the animosity? It honestly seems like some people just 'didn't mind' me being here because I boosted their ego a bit with honest comments which, on those occasions, were positive. However, as soon as I'm honest in a negative way, it gets an overwhelming backlash because some so-called football fans simply can't handle it. It's a real shame.
Chappaz. It all depends on what has been seen in training? We can only assume on our side that if Bruce is happy, so is Quinn. They might (must ) have seen enough from what we already have if this is what they're saying. x
Poor wee blighter... it fair brings a tear to one's eye. If he wasn't such a loyal little ****er he probably wouldn't even bother posting on our board.
Oh it's very possible, don't get me wrong. I'd still be very weary though personally, and it seems like a lot of Sunderland supporters would as well. To use the example of our team again, we have Shola, Lovenkrands and best all as somewhat capable back-up strikers, but we're STILL on the hunt for another quality striker to rotate with Ba in a 4-4-1-1 formation. Might seem excessive, but last season just showed how quickly **** can hit the fan. Players in the North East dropped off like flies last season, and there's always a chance it could happen again.
I read the piece in the Journal from SB earlier in the day and chatted over the issues with some of the guys (at the golf club). We supporters felt that whilst here was agreement with the transfers to date, not to bring in another proven striker is a mistake. For me this just compounds the error when Bent was sold and no replacement brought in. I'm not knocking the young lads brought in but frankly we have NOT replaced Bent. I'm sure there is a cash restraint, and some of the extra players need to be gone..but surely we have some funds left..if we are to kick on we need 2 more players a winger and a striker..we probably all know that with the African cup in 2012 and only 2 young lads to fall back on.
Just put everyone on this thread who has been unnecessarily throwing insults on my ignore list. Now maybe I can enjoy a bit of debate with true fellow football fans while the kiddies keep throwing their tantrums because I'm not saying what they want to hear. And if it annoys you that I can't see what you're saying whilst you continue to read my oh-so-awful footballing opinions, please put me on your ignore list as well.
To be honest I'm here to read the views of fellow Sunderland fans, but sometimes it's good to read an alternative view, sometimes. It's just that you can come across sometimes as a font of all knowledge and it can be slightly tiresome to read that we're wrong in our views and your constantly right. Nothing against you being here, since you seem to be one of the better mag posters on here, (but to be honest that isn't saying much.) but you're prob here more than I am discussing Sunderland. If you are sticking round though, do me a favour and remove that picture from your posts, cos everytime I see him I really want to twat him in the face
Well I ain't a font of all knowledge by any stretch of the imagination and I've never thought I was. In fact, compared to some my footballing knowledge is piss poor. I got into it quite late in the game compared to some. But yeah, take it all with a pinch of salt cos I'm just giving my views . I've never been one to shy away from admitting I'm wrong if someone makes a good point. Done it plenty of times on the Sunderland board. Although, I find it odd that the post which has caused me to be attacked the most by far is actually one where I was saying the same as most of the mackems. . Makes me wanna hit him as well and I'm a mag. It used to be Nile Ranger, but I changed it because half of the Newcastle board genuinely thought I was a black man.
Hahaha - If I put someone on my ignore list I don't have to see how often I get pwoned by them! Classic insecure dipshit tactic no wonder the Newcastle lads all feel the need to rep each other all of the time
big gamble having only 1 recognised striker imo, if it comes off fantastic. Hopefully Sess and the other midfielders will chip in with a fair few. Whickam and Dong are for the future but can see them both getting a chance early doors, just hope that not too much pressure put on them until they get what's going on and can partner up and read whoever tehy play with Still can't help but feel optimistic!!!
