Accordingly, 5 teams are interested in Maynard, who they rate at £4m, including Norwich and QPR and Fulham. Only Fulham are quoted as interested in Albert (thank heavens).
On the flipside, apparently Andy Johnson is available for a knock-down £2m from Fulham. He was brilliant in the Championship for Palace with a 74/140 record, and will be 31 in February, so probably willing to move down a division. I would love to get him at the Gate. I reckon £2m plus Johnson is exchange for Maynard would be a good deal.
