Firstly ... getting to 5th in the league isn't "lucky" ... if Cellino genuinely is on the recording then he needs to fcuk off and quickly, if not then I hope he gets approval ... McD, Haigh, don't really give a fcuk if they stay or go anymore, what matters now is getting money into the club, everything else is secondary ... Billy Davies anyone? It was a temporary position, we hadn't a chance of staying there as has been proved. We had a little run of playing teams in the bottom 10 and scraping some wins. Even then I believe we hadn't beaten anyone in the top 6 at the time?
Doubt if he is. McD probably realises how dire he is but saves face by saying he's injured rather than admit everyone else was right and he's crap
Apparently, you agrred a loan fee for him (which you haven't paid in full yet) - and are legally obliged to pay his £22k per week wages (accoring to the BBS Palace forum)
But any manager is going to have the same problem in his first season. Unsettled squads get battered sometimes. Even often. Nigel Pearson went 17 games without a win last season. That's far worse than our 3 wins in 19 which is comparable to our form at this time every season. My point is you say this and that about the manager being out of his depth but other managers have done much worse in much better situations with far better squads and come out of it alive and kicking and even thriving. You can't possibly ever know if a manager is truly out of his depth in the first season. There are too many variables in play to just pin everything that goes wrong on the manager
The first person booted out of our club should be the scumbag Haigh! Has anyone noticed the red wristband he always wears. Let's hope Bayern put on a show tonight.
I went back through some old threads, didn't you call for Warnock to be sacked when his record was better?
To be fair to Marko, Ristac, Warnock was only ever going to be here for 1 year to get us promotion. When it was clear that we were never going to get promoted, it was reasonable to ask him to go & let the new man in to see what pile of shyte he's been left to work with.
