This interview is definitley damaging, to the club, to Cellino, and to the fans. A good listen though. But its timing is awful - may as well be a Man U supporter having done this to the club

Well GFH and Haigh told us at the start we would have transparency and we haven't had an ounce of it, the only press releases they offer is "we will give you news when we have it" or they might confirm something we knew days before.

If that is Cellino in the interview which is seeming more and more likely yes it could be damaging but.... He tells it how he see's it, more transparent than some would like maybe but a pleasant change if you ask me and I agree with what he has to say, he has been treated like crap yet he he pumped how much into us when he doesn't even own us?

They say the truth hurts and Cellino has shed some light on why we are struggling with our finanices and told us what many already knew, Haigh and Mcdermott out Cellino in <ok>

I am astonished ... seriously astonished ... if that is Cellino, and I'd be horrified if it is ... talking about player wages, bad mouthing people, its off the bizarre scale and will definitely end in a string of lawsuits, no doubt ... and yet people like eire and ristac seem to a) believe it and b) welcome it ... just astonishing

Yes David I do welcome it and believe it. Anything that reveals the sick undercurrent at the club is welcome in my books. Crap players and manager earning extraordinary salaries for doing nothing, making us a laughing stock on the pitch

Lawsuits would love to see Hunt and McDermott try and win a case by proving they are not overpaid useless cnuts.;)

Sounds exactly as incompetent has he looked when he sacked McDermott if you ask me.

Cellino taking over might be the only way out of administration, but it's the lesser of several evils as far as I'm concerned.

I think we're ****ed some other style if it doesn't. That telephone interview confirms what I thought about Cellino, he has no idea how English football works. Granted some of those wages flying around are too high but he seems to think that sacking managers gets results. No thanks.

Most managers would be expected to get sacked after our run fron 5th downwards.
He has spent cash, and can't blame the off pitch antics every week.
Nice bloke, yes, but is his time up?

He's not even had a full season in charge. A poor run of form should never, ever, ever warrant a sacking in a managers first full season in charge.

When did everyone get the idea that success can be instant and overnight? Especially with some of the dross in our squad.

Nothing McDermott has done so far has warranted a sacking. If this was still happening the same time next season I'd be concerned but for now he's a victim of circumstance doing a decent job considering.

If the manager is doing a good job getting results there will be no reason to sack him

I agree with this, if this forum had been going in 60's people would of called for Revie's head in his first season.

Who's to say Cellinos approach won't work at the club. We've tried all the tried and tested stuff. Tried young lads, auld lads, loanees, British managers, big wages and none of it's worked. So who can say for definite Cellinos approach is the wrong one. We can't be worse than we are

Maybe if we saw a style of football, formation etc,
We could say he is building a squad, but doesn't seem so.
I agrre managers are sacked far to quickly nowadays, but hard finding any positives from his tenure.
Most on here don't bat an eyelid when we lose at home again and again, that is how sad it has become.

We've seen glympses of what they can do plenty of times. When the concentration isn't there then they will just robotically stick to predictable training ground drills when going forward and forget basic stuff when defending. We've all been there when not concentrating.

Only so much Brian can do on that front.
