    I applied for about 5 when I had no experience and got 0. Then I got 1 I didn't apply for and have been there 18 months. So hopefully now i've got some experience i'm all sorted for my next application.

    I don't know how Tash can't get a job, he must make a right helmet of himself on his CV(writing about him bleeding black and white...) or in the interview.

    The two I got turned down for was due to lack of experience. Next only hired me because i can work anytime pretty much. And i'm joining the TA in January <diva> .

    I think the problem is with Tash is that he is aiming too high. I'm not saying he is stupid or anything it's just like I said getting your foot in the door is the important thing even if it means having a ****ty minimum wage job for a while.

    For my last interview I was stoned to ****. To be fair I'd had surgery the day before and the stuff I was on was all prescription, but I was still high as a kite. Got the job though.

    It probably helped that the interview was by videoconference

    Its not too easy to get a job around here like .. Without meaning to sound big headed, ive got a good CV, got quite a bit of working experience in a range of industries and just recently left the army and still cant manage to get a job .. Our lass has even been accepted for a job and they have been pissing around for about 9 weeks now about her start date .. People around here just are not keen on taking people on right now.

    I went to University and have been looking for over 2 years, done 3 voluntary work placements and got good references from them and surprised them all with our good I was and how hard I worked.

    **** university the best thing to do is learn a trade. My advice to anyone is you don't want to work in an office enviroment because the places are crawling with arseholes, lazy slapper, pompus bastards and serial killers.
