Well someone has to make themselves the object of ridicule and abuse. I'm looking forward to the World Cup and think that England will, for once, make a good showing. I think that the back three will gel and the front three will give even good teams something to think about. Not saying that they'll win it but that they will not embarrass themselves, will produce some entertaining football and late goals. I predict they'll get knocked out by one of the two finalists. The general consensus will be that it's the best showing since 1996.
