We've had our share of humiliation of not qualifying. It's their turn!

Sweden are a very good side these days, they where in with France and Netherlands in qualifying and more than held there own. Although they finished behind France in the group, they where way more impressive in the games they won. Lots of big score lines, scoring way more goals than France.

It would be strange if Italy didn't make it, but I knew this tie would be a much tougher tie for them than some believed.

Italy look like England tonight, sideways passing, with very little cutting edge.

Italy definitely have it all to do if they are going to make the WC, judging by tonight's performance.

Didn't buy into ITVs Loftus-Cheek love in. Kept the ball for too long resulting in the Germans falling into shape.

Must have been. Livermore's touch was abysmal and I think it took him half an hour until he completed his first pass.

He's competitive and he give it his best bless him, but he's nowhere near international class.

 

Wum aside the 3-5-2 with Vardy and Kane in front of Alli would actually work.

 

As an Italy supporter, it pains me to say that it wouldn't bother me if they didn't make it. This is the worst Italian squad (and manager) i've seen in my lifetime and unless something is done to make Serie A what it once was, I can't see that changing in a hurry.
