Is it bad that I feel more passionate about the England women team then the mens?

I remember when Jose fonte passed the ball straight to RVP, and we went 1-0 down in similar circumstances. The reaction between that, and England is ridiculous. It's like fans just enjoy being negative about England.

I'm not negative. I just don't have the passion for England I use to have. The same players get picked time and time again and perform badly. I remember Roy saying players would get in on their form, well that was a load of ****.

No just saints matter.

No. England matters, it's just we back saints fully, and everyone enjoys moaning about England.

We are an average team, we will produce average performances. Why not just get behind them? The overreaction from everyone is absurd to me

Well the main difference is we all love Saints and don't give a flying **** about England apart from when a Saints player plays.

But like I said - we are performing well today. If this exact game was played out but with saints instead of England, everyone would be saying "come on you reds, good performance first half but we just got unlucky and switched off. Let's turn it around second half"

No, I'd blame Guly do Prado for trying to use the offside trap.

We are playing ok with no real attacking apart from the odd chance.

Sorry Os but unlucky? Do me a favour.

Massive difference. Jose Fonte was the right choice to be playing in that position in the first place. Phil Jones isn't.

Come on FFS. Glen Hodle has just said of a professional England footballer, "If he's going to play in that position, he needs to learn how to take a throw on."

How embarrassing is it that he's right?

No, you're right, Phil Jones over Clyne is baffling I won't counter that.

It's just the difference in fans opinions that amazes me. I honestly don't see much difference between this performance and some of saints lacklustre ones, and no one reacted with anywhere near the same anger. Players make mistakes sometimes. It's football. Yet for our clubs it's forgivable, and for England they're slated massively.

I don't see any anger? I also don't see any over the top slating either. It's just a lot of people aren't as passionate about England as they are Saints.
